PATRICIA ARMADA IS A SWISS AND SPANISH ILLUSTRATOR AND DESIGNER BASED IN BARCELONA.
Her work involves illustration, design and paper art. Whether in still or moving image, she experiments with paper and textures, in two dimensions or by creating volumes while always playing with geometry and colours.
Having studied design and worked as a freelancer in Switzerland, she relocated to Spain to dive into illustration. She co-founded Velkro, an independent boutique design studio, working for local and international clients within the public and private sector.
After having a daughter, the exciting and intense journey of motherhood has inspired her to pursue her own path following her first love: illustration. Applying a set of multidisciplinary skills, she creates designs with a playful and positive energy.
