Ensemble Variante’s second performance of the 2023/2024 season brings to life this musical piece inspired by the Grimm Brothers’ famous tale, about four animals in pursuit of their dream to become musicians.

This unique ensemble comprises a donkey (bassoon), a dog (clarinet), a cat (oboe), and a rooster (flute), each symbolising a distinctive musical character in the play.
